Christmas 2011!! Jace's FIRST Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas!!Christmas was amazing this year!! We had a busy schedule but every celebration was wonderful and we are so blessed to be able to spend time with our families during this time in celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. We were also excited to start some of our own family traditions as a family of three this year.

We started the Christmas season with taking adorable pictures of our little man for our Christmas card. Thanks to my best friend Courtney Smith, we got some GREAT pictures!!!

Of course we included Babe on our Chirstmas card so we also took some pictures of them together!!

Jace saw SANTA only THREE times!!! We took him first to Bass Pro Shops and then to the Enchanted Forest. Then he went back to the Enchanted Forest with Gigi, Poppy, Uncle Cory, Aunt Lindsay and Knox. We also got a picture of Jace and Knox together with Santa but I haven't scanned it yet. Jace did great with Santa!!!!

Then the family get-togethers started!!!!

On Thursday night (Dec. 22nd) we went to Mawmaw's house. (Lance's grandma and Jace's great-grandma) We had a great night with Lance's dad and family. Jace got his very first gun from his Pawpaw and Nana. They also gave him a sweet Charlie Brown Chirstmas book! And he got some money from Mawmaw to put into his account!! Yay!!! We had a great night!!!

Then on Dec. 23rd we went to Uncle Tony and Aunt Holly's house to celebrate Christmas! This is also Mama Jewel's birthday so we celebrated that as well!! Jace got some new pj's and carhartt overalls from Uncle Tony and Aunt Holly. He got a train toy, camo jacket and some money from Mama Jewel. He did great opening gifts. He liked the hanger and his daddy's new duck call the best!!!

On Christmas Eve morning we woke up and made breakfast. Then we opened gifts as our family of four (including Babe). We had a great time together and making memories. This year was really special with it being our first time as parents. Jace got a few new outfits, bath letter toys, toy camera and phone from us!!! Jace and Lance surprised me with some new diamond earrings!!! I LOVE them!!! Lance got a table saw!!!

Then on Christmas Eve at lunch NayNay and Aunt Amber came over to do gifts. We had potato soup for lunch. Jace got lots of cute clothes from Aunt Amber and also a camo tote bag. NayNay also gave him some cute clothes, a cd, two movies, activity table,sled and a Leapfrog Scout dog. Jace loved everything!!!

On Christmas Eve night all of my family came over to our house for our traditional fried shrimp and twice baked potatoes!!! Yum yum!!! Knox and Jace had a great time together!!! Uncle Bobby, Aunt Michelle and Maitland got both of the boys a gift. Jace got a cute little riding toy and Knox got a little bike. We always play the dirty santa game with everyone!!! We had a great time!!!

Gigi bought the boys Christmas pj's!!! The looked so cute wearing them!!! They had a great time while taking these pictures. They were entertaining us all by laughing and talking!!!! We had the boys picture taken together to give to Poppy and Gigi!!!! They LOVED it!!!!

On Christmas morning we woke up and Jace got to experience his very first visit from Santa!!!! He played for a little bit but then we all got ready for church!! Gigi and Poppy met us at our church!! What an AWESOME way to start the day on Christmas by going to church. We had a candlelight service and it was great!!!! Jace did wonderful during the service!!! We then came home and Jace got to really play with all of his new toys!! Gigi and Poppy also came back to our house. We cooked Chili for lunch. We were blessed to be able to stay home on Christmas day and we invited everyone to come by. All of Jace's grandparents came to see what he got from Santa. His Aunt Amber also came over!!!!

Jace and all of his grandparents and one of his great-grandmas. Mawmaw did not get to come over but he did get to see her earlier in the week to celebrate Christmas!!!

The day after Christmas we went to Poppy and Gigi's house to have our family Christmas!!!!!! We had a blast and Jace and Knox are so much fun to watch together!!!!! We had our traditional snack foods and then steak for dinner!!! Yummy!!!!! The boys got some great stuff!!! Jace got a hippo ball pooper toy from Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Cory and Knox. He LOVES it!!! We gave Knox the dancing Elmo doll!!! He really liked it!!! From Poppy and Gigi, Jace got a dinosaur walking toy, a Noah's ark set, new pj's, pants, socks, puzzle with his name, step stool with his name, little cars, lawnmower, shape set and books!!! We had a wonderful day with family!!! Christmas time is so special and we are very blessed!!!!

After opening gifts and taking naps....the boys needed a snack!!! Then they played and played while we played Phase 10!!

Christmas was extra special this year with the addition of Jace to our family!!! We had a wonderful week of celebrating Jesus and we look forward to the years ahead of making memories and teaching Jace all about the true meaning of Christmas!!!! Happy Birthday Jesus!!!
