We went to to Destin, FL for a week and had a WONDERFUL time. Jace did AWESOME in the car on the way there. We left at 4:00am. We got to the beach on Saturday afternoon, ate lunch and then went to the beach. Jace did great walking and touching the sand. He didn't know what to think about the water coming up at him. He just starred at it and would start walking backwards. It rained all day Sunday so we hung out in the room and played games. We had a fun time! We were worried about the weather for the rest of the week because there was a 60-80% chance of rain every day. But we got lucky and it didn't rain anymore!! We had BEAUTIFUL weather the rest of the week!!!
Jace LOVED the water and playing in the waves. His daddy would take him all the way out and hold him up over the big waves. The water splashing in his face didn't bother him at all. He continued to point out to the ocean whenever he wanted to go out. We went out to eat several nights and took Jace on a little train ride!! He enjoyed it!!
We had a BLAST and made lots of memories!!! We plan to go back to the beach many more times!!! We love it!!!!
