Talking Talking and Talking!!!!

2 year old check up: We went to Jace's two year check up the week after his birthday. He doesn't like going to the doctor very much. He is great in the waiting room but as soon as they call his name to come back he starts trying to walk the other way. Then he started crying as soon as Dr. Owen walked in. He weighed 27 pounds and Dr. Owen said that he looked great!!

I LOVE Jace's age and all that he is doing right now. He is TALKING SO MUCH and learning so much!! I am amazed every day at the things he can do and say. He says a prayer before dinner and it is the sweetest thing ever!! A few of my favorite quotes/phrases:
 "help me"
"thank you mommy"- He has awesome manners! I sure hope it stays this way!
"Don't hurt Jace"- When we have to get on to Jace and maybe spank his hand or something, he will say "Don't hurt Jace". Its funny and bad at the same time. I had to get on to him the other day in public and he started saying it loud.
 "help mommy"- Jace absolutely LOVES to help!!! He is a very good helper too!!
 "back it up"- referring to his trucks and cars, he also likes for his daddy to back his truck up in the driveway. Jace loves to drive in the truck with his daddy and also his Poppy every day at lunch
"daddy's bronco" Jace loves to go for rides in  the bronco. He gets SO excited!!
 "Did you have a good day?" When I come home from work he will ask me this!! It totally makes my day.
"mommy pretty" A friend of mine came over for me to look at new make-up and we were trying it on and Jace looked at me and said "Mommy pretty". He sure knows how to melt my heart!!!

If you ask Jace- "What does daddy do at work?" He will say "moving mattresses and making money" It is too funny!! 

These are just a few phrases but Jace is also talking in complete sentences. We can call and talk to him on the phone and completely understand what he is saying. It is so sweet!! He is counting and can say his full name. He loves saying Scoggins! It is really cute how he says it!!

He is growing up and is such a big boy!!!
