Our little Prince and Princess!!!

Arlee June has been such a blessing to our family!! 

2 weeks: At her two week check up she weighed 7lbs 8oz and Dr. Owen said that she looked great! She was stuffy the first few weeks and it kept us up a lot at night but she seemed to sleep through it. At night she would wake up every 3-4 hours to eat. She would eat and go right back to sleep!

3 weeks: Arlee June started smiling and making some really cute faces this week. She likes to hold your finger and lay on your chest. She also likes to lay on her side. She was still sleeping about 4 hours. 

  The 4th of July was Arlee June's first holiday!! We went to several different firework shows and celebrated the 4th at Poppy and Gigi's pool!!

6 weeks: Arlee June started sleeping 5 hours during the night this week!! Yay!!! She continues to smile often, loves the swing and bouncy seat. She really focuses and listens while you talk to her now! She is eating 4 oz now. Sometimes she still only drinks 2-3 oz at a feeding. 

Arlee June spent the night away for the first time. Both kids stayed with Poppy and Gigi while mommy and daddy went to a wedding and then celebrated our five year anniversary by staying at the hotel. We had a nice weekend and I know the kids loved staying with Poppy and GiGi!!

7 weeks: She started sleeping  6-7 hours this week!! We were so proud!! She is doing a great job!! She is a happy girl and is changing so fast!!

 Jace is an AWESOME BIG BROTHER!! He loves to help, hold her and give her kisses. He loves for her to be in his room and lay beside him on his bed. He talks to her all the time and it totally melts my heart. He is so sweet!!

Jace is still talking really good and continues to get even better. He has moved into a big boy bed and he was very proud. He can count to 10, say the blessing at dinner (when he wants to) and he has really started to show his imagination when playing. He loves trucks, trailers and all that boy stuff. He is always backing his 4-wheeler up to either a box or stool to act like he has a trailer.  He is great in the swimming pool and loves going to the new splash pad by our house. He is a water baby for sure. He still likes to play his guitar and dance around the house. He got his dancing skills from his daddy!!It is truly amazing to watch him grow and change. He is so much fun!!!
