Becoming such a BIG BOY!!!

Jace amazes us everyday!! He is talking even more and learning so much each day. He is very observant and hands on. He still LOVES his trucks and has a very big collection. He loves seeing  trucks and construction equipment on the side of the road. He always says

 " The man is working." He knows the names of all the different construction equipment. 

When driving down the road he knows where you should turn to go to certain places. He truly amazes me sometimes on the things he remembers!!

Jace still loves to cut the grass with his daddy and he helps every week! He rides on the lawn mower and wears his little safety goggles. He absolutely loves being outside and "working". He knows all about the lawn equipment, what each piece is called and used for. His vocabulary has really increased in the past several months. 

Jace is an AWESOME BIG BROTHER. He is always saying "Where is Arlee June?", and he likes to hold her and give her kisses before bed. He is very sweet with her!

We have had some constuction going on at our house and Jace has LOVED every second of it. We are building a garage in the backyard and Jace sits at the door and watches the construction men. He calls is "daddy's new house" and he will also day "daddy's garage." He told us that he is going to park his bikes in the new garage. 

The only tv show that Jace really likes to watch and will ask to watch is Barney. He gets really excited when it comes on. He has recently learned all the shapes from watching the show. We were at Wal-mart the other day and he said "Look mommy a triangle, Look mommy a circle...etc." and he was right each time!! I was very proud!!! He puts a smile on my face daily!

Jace LOVES going to "daddy"s work". He is all about Al (who works with Lance). He likes to ride the fork lift and watch them load and move mattresses. The other day out of now where Jace said..."Al is going to bring Jace a new big bed to my house." We just laughed! I think he is trying to tell us that he wants a bigger bed!! Haha!!

Jace picked out some paints while shopping the other day. He did great painting for the first time!! He really enjoyed it!!!

Potty Training: We started using the big boy potty the beginning of August. Jace is doing an excellent job! He still has some accidents but overall is doing an awesome job!! I am very proud of him!!

Sleep Over: Jace and Knox recently spent the night together at Poppy and GiGi's house! They had a great time together as always!! They even fell asleep in the same bed! I was shocked!)

We also went to Birmingham Labor Day weekend to go to Mallory's birthday. We stayed the night at Kathy and Blake's house. The kids had a great time playing together!! We had a great weekend!

We have really enjoyed the summer and my extra time off for maternity leave! We have gone to the Zoo, park, swimming a lot and enjoying all the time we have had!! It has been wonderful and I am not looking forward to going back to work!

Jace loves going to church on Sundays and we have started going on Wednesday nights too. We have also started saying prayers at night with him and he likes to read his bible. It is very sweet!! He can say the blessing before eating when he wants too! 

Jace is a very smart, handsome, loving and energetic little boy!! He brings so much joy to our lives on a daily basis and we are extremely blessed!! I am so lucky to be his mommy!!
