We left the house at 3:35 am to head to the beach!!!! The kids were SO excited!!!! Jace talked none stop the first 30 minutes and then he fell asleep! Arlee June fell asleep after an hour. They were both awesome in the car!!!!! They seriously could not have done any better!!! We were very proud of them!!!
When we got to the condo our room wasn't ready so we went to eat lunch at the Destin Diner! It was good and the kids enjoyed some ice cream! Then we went grocery shopping and came back and our room was ready!
We unpacked and organized everything and then went to the BEACH!!! Arlee June wasn't walking last year so we were anxious to see how she responded to the beach! Well.....she absolutely LOVED it!!!! And Jace immediately took to it like every other year!!!! We have beach babies for sure!!! We stayed on the beach until 8:00pm then we took showers and cooked crab legs!!! Yum!!!! Jace fell asleep before we could finish eating!!!
We are so excited to be at the beach and are looking forward to a great week!
