Jace and Arlee June were very excited to ride on the airplane to go to DISNEY! Jace was a great helper with the luggage and getting it through the airport! They both did great on the plane! We got to the hotel late and they crashed!!
Day 1- We went to Animal Kingdom! We all woke up so excited and ready to go!! We got there early and waited for it to open! We went straight to the safari ride and it was really neat!
We ate at Tusker House and got to meet lots of characters! Jace and Arlee June were so excited to see the Mickey shaped waffles!
Jace loved having his autograph book to get the characters to sign! This was our very first meal at Disney and he was all about it!! Smiling and taking pictures with the characters right away!
Jace and Arlee June participated in the parade around the restaurant with Mickey and Daisy Duck!
Arlee June wasn't too sure about getting her picture made with Donald at first! But it didn't take her long to warm up to all the characters and love them!
Arlee June fell right to sleep on mommy and took a great nap!
Mickey Mouse ice cream!!!
It rained for about 20 minutes towards the end of the day but it didn't stop us from having a blast!
Our first day was a success!!! The kids did awesome and we all had a blast!! We loved eating at Tusker House and meeting the characters! The atmosphere was so much fun and the food was great! We all loved the Kilimanjaro Safaris ride! Jace and Lance rode the Kali River Rapid ride and they got SOAKING wet! Jace liked it but didn't want to ride it again because he didn't want to get all wet! Day one at Animal Kingdom was great!!
