April 2016

T-Ball: Jace loves playing baseball and it is fun to watch him grow, mature and learn more and more about the game each season! He is hitting great!!

Helping Poppy paint: Jace and Arlee June love to help their Poppy! They love to work in his shop too! Recently, they helped him paint a statue for the flowerbed! They loved it! 

River: We started working on the second River house! We got the bedrooms set up and plan to get the decks connected soon! Poppy and GiGi went with us to help us clean it up and get a few things done! We had a fun weekend!! We all love going to the River!  

Picnic at daddys work:  One Sunday afternoon after church we came home, packed our lunch and went to daddy's new warehouse to have a picnic by the pond! We had a GREAT afternoon! After eating, we rode the side-by-side around the land! We had a blast and plan on doing it again soon! 

 "The big helpers"- Arlee June is very independent! She likes to do things by herself and she likes to help others! She recently helped GiGi plant flowers, she always helps clean, she likes to make her own sandwiches, she can completely dress herself and much more!

Jace is also a big helper! He likes to help make the beds, he cleans up well, is organized and likes his desk to be in order, he helps his sister when needed (most of the time), gets in the car and buckles himself, and much more!

Poppy's 60th Birthday: Poppy had a great 60th birthday party at their house! Lots of family and friends were there to celebrate! They had lots of food and a band! It was a beautiful night! The kids had a blast and danced the entire night!! Poppy is loved very much!!

Grizz game: The Grizz season has come to an end! We loved having season tickets this year and can't wait until next season! Jace and Arlee June did great and enjoyed going to the games! Jace learned the players names and all! Arlee June loved clapping and dancing along to the music during the games! We created lots of family memories this basketball season! 

TRA Trike a Thon:  Jace's school had a Trike a Thon fundraiser and he had a blast! He was so excited to take his bike to school! His daddy was there to support him and said that he did great! 

TRA baseball buddies: A few of the high school baseball players would come to Jace's class each month and interact with the kids doing various activities. One night, the kids got to go out on the baseball field with their "baseball buddies". Jace loved this!! He felt so big!!

Jace's field trip: Jace's 4K class had a field trip downtown! They got to go to Maggie Moo's for ice cream, The Peabody to see the ducks and then had lunch at The Blue City Cafe. This field trip fell during testing days so mommy could not get off work but daddy was there with him!! They said that it was a lot of fun! Jace got to ride the bus there and then got to go home with daddy after lunch! 


May 2016: 

Singing and playing guitar: Jace and Arlee June LOVE to sing and play the guitar! They both know lots of songs and they sing ALL the time!!! Jace has a guitar and they take turns playing!! Guitar lessons may be in our future!! :) 

Daddy at race: Lance went to Talladega with my dad, Uncle Dale, Shane and a few friends for the weekend. The kids and I spent extra time with GiGi. She even came and spent the night at our house! The kids face timed their daddy and write him a special note on the chalkboard so he could see when he got home! It said "We missed you daddy. I love you" 

Mothers Day: I had a wonderful Mothers Day! We went to church, out to eat for lunch and then Poppy, GiGi, Cory and his family came over for dinner!! We had a great day and the kids loved playing outside in the backyard! I am so blessed to be a mommy and I thank God for allowing me to be!! Jace and Arlee June mean everything to me and they are absolutely amazing!!

May 7th: We took our first ride of the season on the boat!! We love riding on the boat and going to the River!!! The water was too cold for me but the kids and Lance got in! 

T-Ball: Jace was SO excited that his teacher, Mrs. Emily, came to his game and watched him play! He loved being in her class and I am so thankful for her! 

Sissy's hair: Arlee June's hair if growing so much!!! She tells me all the time "Mommy, I want my hair waaaayy down here....(as she points to her feet)"  We can now put it in a complete ponytail and she even wore pigtails the other day and she loved it!!!!

Jace's desk: Jace got a desk for his birthday and the kids love playing on it! They practice writing, drawing, making cards and coloring!!! I love watching them play!!! Jace is very organized and keeps everything so nice and neat (which I love)!!

Jace's last day of 4k: Jace had a WONDERFUL year in 4K at Tipton Rosemark Academy!! He learned so much and we are so proud of him!! On his last day, they had a picnic and then he got to check out early! Jace and daddy went to the movies and enjoyed the afternoon together! They also came to visit me at school! 

Horses: Arlee June loves horses! As we drive down the road she always looks out the window looking for horses! She gets so excited every time we see some! We recently went over to Mike and Tiffany Kent's house and Arlee June got to sit on Kelsey's horse! She was SO excited!!!

T-Ball in the rain: Jace got to experience playing ball in the rain! It rained almost the entire game but he had a great time!! Arlee June and I sat in our raincoats and umbrellas and cheered him on! 

New Car: I got a new Yukon and love it!! Lance went to St. Louis to get it! Jace and Arlee June were excited too! Arlee June loves it because she sits up higher and can see out the windows!

Tipton Rosemary Academy 4K Program: Jace's 4K class had an end of the year cowboy program. It was adorable!!! He has been coming home singing songs for several weeks! Arlee June even started singing them! He wore his boots, hat and bandana and looked like the cutest cowboy I have ever seen!!! He did a great job during the program singing the songs and doing the movements! We are so proud of him and how much he has grown this year!! We had a wonderful experience at TRA! 

1st swim: Jace and Arlee June were eager to swim and they did not let the cold water stop them!!! They are both doing great in the water already and its early in the summer! We have water babies!!!

River City: We took Arlee June for a free trial gymnastics class at River City and she loved it! We are trying to decide about signing her up for either gymnastics or dance in the fall! We plan to try a trail dance class before we decide! 

Norfork Lake: We spent a long weekend at Lake Norfork and had a blast!  Poppy and GiGi went with us! We stayed in cabins and enjoyed the boat for a few days!! The weather was great! We ate dinner at Fred's fish house which we love! Lance and I went to Matt Chandler's wedding on Sunday night and the kids had a fun evening with Poppy and Gigi!! Lake Norfork is beautiful and we had a great weekend!!

Memorial Day: We spent the holiday at the pool with family and friends!! We had a nice day of swimming and cooking out! We love spending time with our family!!
