August 2016

August 2016:

August 3- 
Arlee June started gymnastics at River City and she loved it! She will go one day a week for an hour. She looks precious in her little leotard. 

August 6- 
We had Kindergarten Round Up for Jace. Since mommy had to work it, daddy was with Jace! He did great. He got to meet Mrs. Kelly and all the other boys in his class. He took all his supplies, got to see the classroom and get everything ready for the first day!

August 6- 
We went to the River as soon as we got out of Kindergarten camp! We spent the afternoon on the boat and loved every second of it!!

August 8- 
We knew the day would soon come.......Jace learned how to ride his bike WITHOUT training wheels!! He was SO excited!!! He learned very quick too!! His excitement was priceless. 

August 9- 
Jace's 1st day of Kindergarten!!! He did awesome! Mommy had a few tears! It's hard to believe that my baby is already in KINDERGARTEN!! But I have to say, I LOVE that he is at school with me!! I am excited about this year. 

August 9- 
Arlee June is swimming like a fish! She is doing flips in the water and jumping off the diving board completely by herself and then swims to the ladder. She has come a long way this summer!! 

August-12 
Cory's family, Poppy and GiGi came to the river for the day!! We had a great time! The weather was perfect. The kids rode on the jet skies and the tube. We rode on the boat a lot, swam and played at the beach. Then we cooked out steaks for dinner! We had a great time! 

August 14- 
School is tough!! Jace often falls asleep in the car, but this day he came home, got in the chair and took a nice afternoon nap. And sissy joined him and took one on the couch! 

August 16- 
Arlee June had her first day of MDO!! Baby girl is now in three year old preschool! I cannot believe it! She is loving it! Daddy takes her and GiGi picks her up! Daddy says she walks right in each day!

August 20- 
Arlee June and I had some mommy/daughter time and went to get our nails and toes done! We loved it!! Arlee June picked out pink and I got a purple color. It was fun!! I'm starting her early in loving to get her nails done! 

August 21- 
We all went for a swimming day after school at Poppy and GiGi's house!! It's SO hot outside!! We had a fun afternoon!

August 23- 
Arlee June has been practicing writing her name and she is doing great!!! She can pretty much do it completely on her own!


August 27- 
We spent the weekend at the river and Uncle Tony came up for the day!!! The kids loved it!! We had a good time!!

August 30- 
Jace's t-ball games have started for the Fall season! He is still wearing #2 and this time the team is Orange!! We are excited for another ball season! He did great during his first game!!!
