April 2017

April 2017:

Grizz Easter Egg Hunt:
We went to the Memphis Grizzlies Easter Egg hunt and the kids had a blast! The got lots of eggs and even won some prizes! We also got our picture made with the Grizz Easter Bunny! Arlee June won an autographed notebook and some tickets to the concession stand and Jace won the opportunity to be an "Anthem Buddy" during one of the Grizzlies games! After the egg hunt we got to go eat ice cream sundae's before the game! We had a great time!

T-Ball-homerun:
Jace has had several home runs this season and has learned to run fast around the bases! We are super proud at how well he is hitting the ball and learning to play in the infield. We love watching him play ball!

Anthem buddies at Grizz game:
Jace got to go onto the court during the National Anthem and stand in front of the Grizzlies players!! He was SO excited and chose to wear his Vince Carter jersey! He looked so cute!!

Egg hunts at school:
Jace had an egg hunt at school with all his Kindergarten friends! I enjoyed being able to watch him! Arlee June also had an egg hunt with her friends in her MDO class. She came home talking about it and I know she had a great time!

Cousin time-dyeing eggs and spending night:
Knox, Rachel Grace and Ava Lynn spent the night and we dyed Easter eggs! They had a great time and I loved watching their creative minds! They also played games, colored and enjoyed begin together! I love how they are so close in age and can grow up together! Our family is very blessed!

Easter:
On Good Friday we went to Poppy and GiGi's for lunch and an egg hunt! The kids had a blast hunting eggs! On Sunday, we went to church and then to Uncle Tony and Aunt Holly's house for lunch. We also had an egg hunt there. Jace and Arlee June had a great Easter and got baskets full of goodies from the Easter bunny. This season we also opened up a "resurrection egg" each day and talked about the true meaning of Easter. My heart is so full when I hear my children talking about Jesus and what all he did for us! God is so good!

Visit to river to see construction and ride on boat (April 15):
We took a trip to see how well the cabin is coming along and to ride on the boat! The cabin is looking awesome and we can't wait for it to be all finished. It was a nice day to ride on the boat! The water was freezing but we enjoyed riding for the day! We are ready for summer time and lots of days on the boat and staying at the cabin!

Jace's field trip:
The Kindergarteners went to The Children's Museum! He got to ride on the bus with me and I loved that! He had a lot of fun at the museum and he liked the little grocery store the best! I was able to see him some throughout the time there and his daddy we also there with him! We had a picnic lunch together and that was a lot of fun! We were suppose to go to the park to play but it started raining so we went back to the school and Jace checked out to go home early with his daddy! We had a great day!

Arlee June Western day:
Arlee June had "western day" at school and she looked precious! She wore her dress with a monogrammed horse on it, pink cowgirl hat and boots! She looked so cute and was excited to go to school!

Daddy and Arlee June on way to school:
Every morning we all leave the house at the same time! Jace and I head to school and daddy and Arlee June go to meet GiGi or to the office before MDO. As we are getting in the turning lane to go to school, Arlee June and daddy always pull right beside us so they can tell us bye! She waves and blows lots of kisses! She is so sweet and loves to do this every morning!

Grizz play off:
We went to all the play off games and cheered loud for our team! Even though we didn't make it past the first series, we still had a blast and the atmosphere was amazing! It was loud and exciting!!

Poppy Birthday:
We celebrated Poppy's birthday with dinner and cake!! We always love getting together with our family and celebrating birthdays! We love our Poppy and are so thankful to call him ours!
