May 2017


singing and playing guitar:
Jace and Arlee June love to sing and play their guitars. They know A LOT of songs and they love to perform for us! I love to hear them sing along to the radio when we are in the car! They sing loud and proud! 

cabin construction:
We started construction on the river houses and we love to go and see the progress! We are really excited about it and can't wait to see the final project! 

bowling with The Smith's:
We went to dinner and bowling with Courtney, Webb, Carter and Cohen! We had a great evening and the kids had a blast! Bowling was a lot of fun!!! We plan to do this again really soon! 

baseball:
Jace really improved this year with baseball! He did a great job hitting the ball and he made contact with the ball every time! He also began playing in the infield a lot more and did a great job! He got a few outs and was very attentive during the game! We love watching him learn the game and improve more and more each season! He had several home runs this season and also began sliding into home plate!! He loved doing that! 

Jace- cowboy day
Jace had Cowboy Day at school and he looked super cute in his cowboy hat and boots! He's the cutest cowboy I have ever seen! 

Arlee June 3 year old MDO program end of year:
Arlee June did awesome at her end of the year program! She sang and did all the movements! She knew exactly what to do and she looked precious!!! She is growing so fast! 

Knoxville:
We took a weekend and went to the mountains to watch Maitland graduate from college! We went to Dollywood, Cade's Cove, shopping and hung out at the cabin! We (us, Poppy & GiGi and Cory's family) stayed in a cabin next-door to Uncle Bobby! We had lots of time to visit and catch up! We played games, laughed and had a great time! We love time with family! 

Arlee June's last day of MDO (3 years old):
Arlee June did a great job this year in Mother's Day Out! We are vey proud of the progress she has made and she is on her way to four year old preschool! Daddy and Arlee June had a date and went to the movies to celebrate her last day! She loved that!!!

Jace-field day
Jace had a blast at his Kindergarten Field Day! He participated in all the games and loved it!! I love that I was right there to see him in every event! Daddy also came and joined in the fun! 

Knox- horse show
We went to watch Knox in his very first horse show! He did great and earned a ribbon! Arlee June loves horses so she was ALL about it!!! She loved watching every horse and paid close attention to everything that was going on! 

Arlee June- hair braided
Sissy loves having her hair fixed all pretty! She is really into having it braided. We do french braids and sometimes two braids (like princess Anna) She looks so cute with it all braided! 

Jace-graduation (May 23rd):
Our baby boy graduated KINDERGARTEN! We are so proud of the little boy he is becoming and it's hard to believe this school year is already over. He had a great year! He did great in his program! He sang and did all the movements! We are very proud and beyond blessed!! Daddy and Jace went to lunch at Taco Bell (Jace's choice) and then to a movie to celebrate! Mommy had to stay at work and Arlee June went with GiGi! 

We had a little graduation party at our house that night and our family came over for BBQ and cookies! We enjoyed celebrating our boy! 


Jace- awards day, last day of K
Jace received the "Awesome Achiever" award for the 4th nine weeks! We are very proud that he received this award each nine weeks of mastering all the skills each nine weeks! Yay!!

May 26th- day with GiGi :
Mommy still had to work so the kiddos got to spend the day with GiGi and enjoy the pool!!! They were really excited about that! The LOVE swimming! 

May 27-28 River:
As soon as I got off work for the summer we headed to the river for a couple of days!! We rode the boat, soaked up the sun and enjoyed our time making memories! 

Memorial Day at the pool:
We enjoyed the Memorial Day holiday by the pool with family and friends! We had a great day swimming, playing corn hole, cooking out and being together! We are ready for lots of summer days just like this!
